Friday, July 2
11:30 a.m. American Mensa Awards Ceremony: This year’s Hall of Fame inductees will be announced during the Awards Ceremony.
1:00 p.m. Casino Game Design – How it Works & What Sometimes Goes Wrong
5:00 p.m. Mensa Marriage Reaffirmation Ceremony: Many people meet their spouse through Mensa. These couples will gather to reaffirm their marriage vows. Four ceremonies will take place: Roman Catholic, Jewish, non-denominational Christian, and non-religious Mensa-focused.
6:00 p.m. A Nerd in Rock Star Clothing: Presentation by Michelle Wojtaszek, a Mensa member who is a brain science student by day and in a rock band at night.
8:30 p.m. 80’s Night Club Dance and Costume Contest

Saturday, July 3
9:00 a.m. Mensa Admission Test: The public is invited to take the Mensa Admission Test. The cost is $30. Candidates must be age 14 or older and present a picture ID.
11:00 a.m. Last Tango (lesson) in Paris
4:00 p.m. The Clamp-Down on Public Information in the Post-9/11 Age, Eric Lichtblau, NY Times
7:30 p.m. Banquet and Gala Dance

Sunday, July 4
11:00 a.m. Gregorian Chant & Gothic Cathedrals: A Harmony of Reason in the Middle Ages
1:00 p.m. Stand-up Comedy Workshop

Throughout the event, Kids Trek will take children through a virtual tour of Nevada. From the hotel, children will learn about ghost towns, the Hoover dam, and extraterrestrials. Children’s activities will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1; Friday, July 2; and Saturday, July 3.
