Arlingtion, Texas - May 10, 2000 - In a 40-hour game marathon, members of American Mensa judged 40 game entries to determine which ones would receive the Mensa Select ® distinction at the 11th annual American Mensa Mind Games competition held May 5-7 in Atlanta.
The Mind Games competition provides an opportunity for game manufacturers and inventors to compete in one of the most respected and recognizable national games competitions while having their games reviewed by some of the country's most avid game-players - members of Arlington-based American Mensa.
The Mensa Select seal is considered one of the most prestigious awards, said Frank DiLorenzo, president of R & R Games which produces Times Up!, one of this year's winners. We are thrilled with the new opportunities this award creates for our company.
